Minutes for Ridgewood Swim Club, Inc. Annual Stockholders Meeting

RWSC Board of Directors Present:  David Scanland, Allison Zuchowski, Robin Grove, Kari Taylor, Jay Newman, Scott Moore, Julie Dunn, and Jamie Bond;    RWSC Stockholders Present:  Carman and Nancy Sharp, Steve Simmons, Brent Williams, Harley and Beth Ashe, Ellen Rorrer, and Ray Martin

Allison Zuchowski, President, opened the meeting with introductions from the RWSC Board of Directors. 

Kari Taylor, Treasurer, gave a report on how the accounts are looking.  The profit & loss statement along with the proposed budget for 2008 are attached. 

Allison gave an update on the board decisions since the last stockholders meeting.

·        There will be a full time pool manager at the pool this summer, Kayla Cutsforth, has accepted our offer.  The board will also be looking for lifeguards to work this summer, the age limit will remain at 16, due to chemical testing for the water.

·        Allison also briefed those present regarding the vandalism that occurred at the pool during the off season.  The board is currently considering proposals for securing the site.

·        The board will also be looking for two new members to rotate on the board this year.  In the spring newsletter we will have more job descriptions available in the upcoming newsletter.

Robin reminded the stockholders that if they were interested in running for the RWSC Board of Directors they need to send an email to rwscpool@yahoo.com or to call Robin at 382-2215.  If any stockholder is interested in selling their stock or know someone who may want to purchase stock, they may use the same contact information.

Comments/Questions from RWSC Stockholders:

Will there be water aerobics available for the stockholders?  It will depend on the demand for this class from stockholders and the availability of a teacher.

Will there be someone responsible for the gas grills and to ensure that they have enough gas in them for use?  Yes.

Can we have hot water for the concession area?  We have not proceeded with this endeavor.  We held off this addition due to the renovations.

Is there anyway to get more wood tables?  Robin stated that Brent Williams and Pat Saylors had offered to make them last season.
